We are offering the following student scholarships:
One $500 Alonzo and Evelyn Parham Scholarship
One $500 Matthew & Lydia Alston Scholarship
One $500 Textbook Scholarship
One $1000 Bachelors Degree Scholarship
Application Criteria:
Must reside in the Southeast Michigan/Northern Ohio area
Attend a 2-4 year accredited college/university (If selected to receive the scholarship, proof of school registration must be presented)
If you are applying for the Lois Alexia Bogee Art Scholarship, please send some representation of your artistic talent
One letter of recommendation and one letter from someone you have impacted in your community
Submit a 300-word essay on the following:
· How will your degree help to positively impact your community? and
· Describe your need for assistance toward your college education.
Application and all attachments must be submitted by June 15th
to be considered for that year’s scholarships
