Scholarship Banquet

We held our second annual A5 Scholarship Charity Scholarship Banquet. We celebrated nine scholarship recipients and their families. Of those nine recipients; five received a $500 scholarship for textbooks, one received a $750 scholarship toward their Associate’s Degree, and three received a $1000 scholarship toward their Bachelor’s Degree. We also had the opportunity to celebrate two community organizations with a $1500 scholarship for each organization. One of those organizations was Operation Refuge-Camp Inspire STEAM Program. The other organization was Nurturing Wellness Group Foundation. We look forward to encouraging these students and organizations on their journey to use their awards to make an impact around them. Celebration of Fatherhood

In the midst of a society that undervalues fatherhood, we have created an event to encourage and celebrate fathers. Fathers and their children are invited to come and enjoy an evening focused on them. We will serve a meal, have some interactive events that show the need for fathers, and end the night with fathers and their children signing a covenant together.

‘Celebration of Fatherhood’ is on June 14th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event will be held at the Burton Manor (27777 Schoolcraft, Livonia, MI 48150). The evening includes a sit-down dinner, dessert, photo booth, games and dancing. We will also have a short message from our keynote speaker, Pastor Larry Johnson.

We look forward to having you and your children (including their friends and those you’ve impacted in a fatherly way) out for a fun evening.

Scholarship Banquet

In August of 2018, we held our first annual Scholarship Banquet. We were blessed to provide scholarships to nine students and two community organizations. Throughout the school year, we have been able to keep in touch with the recipients with encouraging notes and small gifts. We are excited to observe how these students and organizations impact families in their surrounding areas.
