Lois Alexia Bogee Art Scholarship
This year A5 Scholarship Charity is offering a new scholarship, the Lois Alexia Bogee Art Scholarship. This is a $1000 scholarship that will be given to a student that is pursuing a career in the arts.
Lois Alexia Bogee was a dedicated artist in the Los Angeles area, and she had a huge heart for sharing her vision of the importance of the arts with many people she came in contact with.
This year, her family wanted to honor her legacy by giving away a scholarship that provides a student who has a desire to pursue an education in the arts (theatre, visual arts, music, etc) an opportunity to get closer to their dreams.
Application Criteria for the Lois Alexia Bogee Art Scholarship:
Must reside in the Southeast Michigan/Northern Ohio area
Attend a 2-4 year accredited college/university (If selected to receive the scholarship, proof of school registration must be presented)
Submit a 300-word essay on the following:
· How will your degree help to positively impact your community? and
· Describe your need for assistance toward your college education.
One letter of recommendation and one letter from someone you have impacted in your community
Please send some representation of your artistic talent
Application and all attachments must be submitted by June 15th
to be considered for that year’s scholarships
